A Day in the Life at Silverbow Country Park
What It’s Really Like to Own a Holiday Home Here.
At Silverbow Country Park we often get asked what life is really like here. The answer? It is calm, connected and deeply restorative.
To give you a true feel for the experience, we have put together a ‘day in the life’, based on what many of our owners tell us they love about being here. Whether you are thinking about a peaceful retreat, a base for Cornish adventures, or somewhere to slow down and breathe again, this is for you.
8:00am Morning light and birdsong.
The sun rises slowly through the trees. You open the curtains to soft golden light filtering through the branches. It is quiet, just birdsong and the occasional rustle in the hedgerows. You pop the kettle on and enjoy your first cuppa out on the decking, wrapped in a cardigan, listening to the world wake up.
9:30am A woodland walk and a visit from a robin.
After a leisurely breakfast, you head out for a walk around the park. The path winds past wildflower areas and maintained hedgerows, planted to support bees and butterflies. You spot a robin, friendly and curious, perched on a post.
You breathe in the fresh Cornish air and feel your shoulders drop. There is no rush, no pressure, just space to be.

11:00am A trip to Perranporth or Truro for a stroll.
You get in the car and head to the coast. Perranporth’s golden sands are just a short drive away perfect for a stroll, a paddle, or a stop at a café for coffee with a sea view. Or maybe you fancy a wander around Truro’s shops and farmer’s market. At Silverbow you are close to both!
1:00pm Back for lunch and a snooze in the sun.
Back at the park you prepare a light lunch in your beautifully fitted kitchen and take it out onto the decking. The sun’s out, so you stretch out on a sun lounger with a book. Before long, your eyelids grow heavy, and you drift into the kind of nap only peace and quiet can bring.
4:00pm A neighbourly hello and a visit from a grandchild.
There is a lovely sense of community here, not busy, or loud just friendly faces. You chat briefly with a neighbour out walking their dog.
Later your daughter pops by with the grandkids. They run off excitedly to explore, spotting butterflies’ and frogs near the pond that Callum and the team built.

7:00pm Supper and the stars.
The evening is cool and still. You cook a simple supper and eat with the doors open, watching the sky turn amber, then indigo.
As the stars appear, you wrap up warm and step outside one last time. The quiet is absolute. You feel grounded, calm, and completely at home.
