Josh Taylor

General Manager

My job in three words: Admin. Ideas. Driving.

You'll usually find me: Wondering around the park making lists of things that need doing.

My Silverbow superpower: Keeping the cogs turning behind the scenes.

Favourite part of the job: Seeing something go from an idea or vision to actually becoming part of the park.

Favourite spot at Silverbow: Down in Sennen, listening to the stream trickling away.

Hidden Talent: So hidden I haven’t found it yet.

Ask me about: Where Silverbow is heading next, and our plans for the family business.

Restaurant recommendation: Caffè Rojano, Padstow.

Favourite Beach: Hayle Beach. Miles and miles of sand.

When i'm not working i'll be: Playing golf, or with the family.

You might be surprised to know: I cycled from John O'Groats to Land's End in 2017, and Mizen Head to Malin Head in Ireland in 2019... (when i was in good shape),

Park Operations Manager

My job in three words: People, park, problems!

You'll usually find me: Somewhere between the office, the park and whatever needs sorting that day.

My Silverbow superpower: Making things happen.

Favourite part of the job:For me, it's seeing people arrive as customers and eventually feeling like they're part of the Silverbow family.

Favourite spot at Silverbow: The Summerhouse pond

Hidden Talent : Making Jaffa Cakes disappear

Favourite Beach: Polly Joke - A hidden little beach, known mainly to locals.

When I'm not working you'll find me: Spending time with friends and family, walking, running or visiting a nice restaurant somewhere (or possibly still working) 

You might be surprised to know: Before Silverbow I worked as an artist, and had my own Equestrian business, where one of my clients was HRH Queen Elizabeth. I also enjoy having the hiccups.

When I'm not working you'll find me: Spending as much time as possible with my children and Grandchildren.

When I'm not working you'll find me: In my Hot Tub with a nice glass of wine

You might be surprised to know: I have my own caravan on park at Silverbow. And I have a secret mission: hiding teddies in the trees and bushes for our visitors to find! So, if you spot a little furry face peeking out, you’ll know who’s behind it!
