Conservation Area and Nature

A Peaceful Haven for Wildlife and Owners Alike

One of the most treasured parts of Silverbow Country Park is our beautiful conservation area. Set within our 43 acre park, this peaceful space has been carefully preserved to provide a safe habitat for local wildlife while offering owners a tranquil place to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature.

Whether you're taking a gentle morning stroll, enjoying a quiet afternoon with a book, or simply sitting and listening to the birdsong, our conservation area is a place where you can slow down and appreciate the beauty of the Cornish countryside.

Nature is never far away at Silverbow. Throughout the seasons you may spot deer quietly grazing, foxes wandering through the trees, rabbits playing in the grass, squirrels darting between branches and a wonderful variety of birds, including woodpeckers and owls. Around our four wildlife ponds you'll often see ducks raising their ducklings in spring, while dragonflies skim across the water during the warmer months. The ponds are also home to our beautiful koi carp, creating a peaceful focal point that many owners love to spend time beside.

Overlooking one of the ponds is our charming summerhouse, complete with a decking area where you can sit with a morning coffee, enjoy a picnic, or simply watch the wildlife go about its day. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a moment of complete relaxation.

Our conservation area is more than just a beautiful feature of the park. It's part of what makes life at Silverbow so special. While many holiday parks focus on entertainment and busy facilities, we've created somewhere that celebrates nature, peace and wellbeing. Here, the soundtrack is birdsong, the scenery changes with the seasons, and every visit offers the chance to discover something new.

For owners who love wildlife, walking, photography or simply spending time outdoors, the conservation area is a place you'll return to again and again. It's your own little corner of Cornwall to relax, recharge and make lasting memories with family, friends and even your four legged companions.
