Silverbow Country Park Welcomes Your Dog

Because they're mans best friend

Silverbow welcomes well behaved dogs on park because we appreciate that our furry friends are as much a part of the family as well as us humans!

One great benefit of owning your own holiday home at Silverbow Country Park is that you can bring your pet on holiday 11 months of the year. There will be no need for expensive kennelling, and you can keep your dog’s toys and bedding in your own caravan.

Cornwall is a great location for a dog friendly holiday with a plethora of walks right on your doorstep including the fantastic South West Coastal Path where you can enjoy stunning views that change on every corner. Did you know that there are 137 beaches in Cornwall where dogs are allowed unrestricted?

Perranporth beach is the closest to Silverbow Country Park and allows dogs on the beach all year round. During the main summer holidays of July and August, dogs must remain on the lead between 9am and 5pm. This is a superb beach for walking the dog, especially at low tide where the beach extends for miles and there are plenty of sand dunes to explore. There is also a wide selection of parking available and the town is welcoming and has some great shops!

Cornwall the Dog Friendly County

Explore with those that you love

Cornwall is a dog friendly county and many of the Cornish attractions, pubs and restaurants cater for well-behaved dogs. Bringing your pet on holiday is now far more common than the exception and Cornwall has developed a tourism industry that caters for dogs. This includes some fantastic attractions such as the Eden Project where you can explore the rainforest with your dog.

Take a trip to see the stunning views from Land’s End, a day out at one of Cornwall’s finest homes such as Lanhydrock with its beautiful gardens and great walks. If you enjoy stunning scenery and entertainment, the Minack Theatre is one of Cornwall’s hidden gems, watch a performance with a stunning seascape backdrop.

Although your four-legged friends will need to be kept on a lead whilst out and about around the park, we have a dedicated dog walking area where you can exercise your dogs and let them stretch their legs.

Please remember to clear up after your dog and use the bins provided.
