Goonhavern is a delightful village located two miles east of Perranporth in North Cornwall and just a short distance from the golden sands of Perran & Perranporth Beach where you can enjoy vast stretches of sand and beautiful scenery.

Newquay, Redruth and Truro are also nearby, and buses and trains run frequently both in and out of the village.

The village itself is welcoming with a lived-in feel and has a great community spirit. There is a post office/village store, a garden centre with restaurant and a pub that serves great beer and a selection of good food. The main supermarkets are just a short distance away.

If you enjoy walking, you will enjoy the circular walks around Goonhavern. These walks range from between 3-6 miles and take you through the woods of the Lappa Valley, the nature reserve at Ventongimps and St. Pirans Round where you can see the remains of the medieval amphitheatre.

Goonhavern will provide you with a good base from which to explore everything that Cornwall has to offer. The Lappa Valley Steam Railway is just 10 minutes away where you can jump aboard a steam train and take in the Cornish countryside. There are also theme parks and farm parks, Cider Farms, fun pools and so much more for you to explore.

Silverbow Country Park is a short walk from the centre of Goonhavern village and offers a range of new static caravans and holiday lodges for sale in Goonhavern. The park is very beautiful, is surrounded by nature and reflects the friendly atmosphere of the village of Goonhavern and the surrounding area.
